Freelancing is a type of work were people work for different clients rather than working for an organization. On freelancing sites, Clients search freelancers for completion of work, whereas freelancers search for work.

Clients post their projects with the budget, whereas freelancers bit (how much money he/she need for the completion of work) for winning the project. A client chooses a freelancer from the site and then provides more details about the project. Finally, after completion of the project by a freelancer, he/she sent it to the client, and the client pays for the work.

These sites earn by taking some part of the money of freelancers for the work they provide. For example, a freelancer gets 20$ for a project then the site takes 2$ when the clients pay through the site.

Generally, everyone can sign in on freelancing sites, but if you want that clients hire you then you have to submit a portfolio according to your skills because generally, clients trust those who showed their talent in the portfolio.

When you search on google you may overcome the number of sites who claim that they provide you instant work and you have to pay the registration fee, but it is my humble request do not trust these sites because most of them are fake.
